01 / THE CHALLENGE

The problem worth solving.

An Ableton Live Set may expect a plug-in format that is missing from a Mac, even when a compatible version is installed. A small compatibility issue can interrupt an entire creative session.

02 / THE PRODUCT

What we built.

We built a Mac utility that reviews the set’s plug-ins, helps select compatible installed formats, and saves a separate repaired copy. The original session remains intact.

03 / THE APPROACH

How we approached the work.

01

Keep the scope precise

The utility addresses format compatibility with installed plug-ins. It does not promise to replace missing software or solve every session issue.

02

Put review before repair

The flow separates opening the set, reviewing formats and saving a copy. Users can see the proposed choices before committing them.

03

Preserve the original

Saving a separate copy gives the user a clear boundary between the source session and the repaired version.

04 / YOUR BUSINESS

What this could look like for you.

A useful software project can be small and specific. If one recurring file, compatibility or handoff problem slows your team down, we can explore a focused utility with clear review steps and a safe path back to the original work.

Fix the task that keeps slowing you down.
